Click to swing from vine to vine. Collect the fruit for points. Use the lily pads to bounce. Another quick, fun and addicting game from the folks over at Globz.
An animated short film about the wizard Melf and his assistants, a little cheeky devil and a fairy. Melf lives in the highest tower in an ancient town, eagerly exploring the secrets of sorcery and magical spells. But performing magic day and night is also very laborious--and unfortunately assistants aren't as reliable as in old times.
Simply put, a classic. There are a huge number of Pacman versions available on the web. This one, however, is easily the truest to the original that I've ever come across on the net.
The rock group Black Sabbath goes on vacation in Hawaii back in 1974. From an episode of Robert Smigel's unfortunatly short-lived TV show, TV Funhouse.
As the totems appear on screen just touch them with the mouse pointer to score points. But you've gotta be quick! More good mindless fun from the Japanese.
Click on the stars and drag them around their orbit in an attempt to collide with other stars. This creates a chain reaction that will score more points. You can also throw stars into a reaction while its happening (the tail of the reaction) to increase your score.
Pantera, featuring the late Dimebag Darrell, perform at Ozzfest 2000. You can catch Zakk Wylde (Ozzy's guitarist) getting in on the fun during 'Primal Concrete Sledge'.
Another very cool, yet hard to understand flash movie from Russia. In this one it seems as if some kind of revolution takes place in a futuristic world in which humans are merely fuel...
Featured primarily as a visual effects showcase, Ricochet puts the viewer in the middle of an all out battle between two disparate armies set in an apocalyptic near-future environment.
Very cool viral ad for a the Playstation 2 that tries to show the future direction for game systems. While this ad is a couple years old, it's still fun to watch. And consider this...it was less than 30 years ago that the Atari 2600 first made it's appearance and changed home gaming forever. When you look at how far this technology has come in those 30 some odd years, is this ad so far fetched?
This is a tragic tale told in a trippy surrealistic world. This flash artist is obviously very talented, although one may have to question what kind of thoughts are running through the authors mind after watching this.
Travel from bubble to bubble while collecting artifacts. The closer to the bottom, the more they are worth. Stay in the bubbles or you sink to the bottom and lose a life.
This is very similar, yet not nearly as polished, as the very popular 'Grow' games. (Check here, here, & here). Basically, you need to click items in the proper order so that each item will 'level up' to their max value.
Pretty Pretty Bang Bang is a simple action game of avoidance, bosses, and chain reactions. Basically, you are the white ball. You move with the mouse. You explode yourself with the mouse button to turn the red balls green...green balls are the only ones that can't hurt you, and are also the only ones that can damage the 'bosses'. Play it a few times and you'll pick it up quickly.
An animated short that tells the story of a lonely robot trying to build his perfect companion. Bringing her to life turns out to be his biggest mistake...
Simple, yet addicting little game...Dodge the incoming 'bugs' with your mouse. As the game goes on the bugs and their behavior change as they will react differently in their pursuit. Start the game by clicking on the dot.
This is a music video for the song 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds'. Actually, it's just a clip from the movie 'The Yellow Submarine', but is often referred to as the 'video' for the song. Considered by many to be the best sequence of the movie, often called 'the dream within a dream' sequence.
Designer Isaac Mizrahi casually gropes Scarlett Johansson during an interview at the Golden Globes award show. I guess the fact that Mizrahi is so openly gay the ladies just kind of let him get away with it. Got me a feeling it would not work out quite the same way had I tried this.
Along the same lines of the previous posts about Jimi Hendrix comes this video of Stevie Ray Vaughn performing the Jimi Hendrix classic, "Little Wing". Another amazing guitarist that left us far before his time.
In this animated short by Martin Schmidt a man is being disturbed by strange noises. In order to go to sleep he tries to eliminate them. Will he finally get some rest?
Another video of the Jimi Hendrix Experience playing live. This one is from the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. They are performing the classic, 'Hey Joe'.
Another clip from Jimi playing 'Wind Cries Mary' can be viewed here.
This point & click 'game' is similar to Samaroast and Grow Cube. Lots of interactivity. I'm not sure just how much there is to it...but there is ALOT it would seem. If you get stuck you can use the [TAB] key to cheat a bit and help find those tricky click points within the game.
Yard Invaders is a Shockwave action arcade game similar to Space Invaders, and yet with some unique gameplay twists. Control is with the mouse. You can only carry up to five apples (ammo) at a time, so you must pick up the ones that fall back to the ground to keep loaded. It should be noted, however, that I don't know what the deal with the duck is.
You need to get the kitty to the house. To do this you must use your mouse to 'draw' a line to the different platforms. The kitty will travel along these lines to get to the different goals (keys to open the house and such). The thing to remember is that a line does NOT to to be completed for the kitty to begin to traveling on it. But you must complete it before it reaches the end of it. Good luck, once you get the basic idea/hang of it, it's hard to stop playing.
Cool animated music video for Brendan Bensons', 'Cold Hands, Warm Heart'. To be honest, this is a far cry from the type of music I normally listen to, but this video was excellent so I thought I'd share.
