Animation: Batman - New Times

Batman fan short done in CGI generated Legos by The Dave School. What is trult impressive is the line-up of genuine voice talent for the film...Adam West, Mark Hamill, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Dick Van Dyke.

Games: More Orisinal Games

Here's a collection of serveral games from the Orisinal website. Orisinal games are known for the peaceful, almost soothing games. Most everything about these games could be called 'soft'. Soft pastel colors, cute animals, relaxing and easy to pick up gameplay...

Anyhow...on to the games...

Floats
Encircle like colored bugs to score. The more in the circle, the more you score. Control is with the mouse as you simply 'draw' the circles.

The Way Home
Use the mouse to guide the squirrel along the ledge. Use the button to jump from ledge to ledge.

High Delivery
Use the mouse to control your fan to move the balloon around and collect flowers on their way to the heavens.

Wake Up Calls
Knock on the cacoons to wake up the butterflys. Use the mouse to control and jump. While jumping, click again to throw.

An Early Spring
Drop food to the dragonflies while avoiding the beetles.

What Comes Around
Defend your territory by getting rid of those pesky gophers. Use the mouse button to drop walnuts and the spacebar to jump.

Bungee Bear
Collect the bunnies in your backpack in order to gain enough weight to bungee down to the apples below.

Bum Bum Koala
Slide down the trees to knock down the snails while jumping tree to tree.

Silent Water
Sink subs by dropping depth charges while avoiding their torpedos. (This game is odd for the Orisinal site simply by virture of it's war theme, yet it still plays like an Orisinal game.)

Animation: The Ballcocks

From the authors of this animation...

“Hello and welcome. We have come to the Ballcocks to demonstrate the preparations in the case of a nuclear attack...... The Ballcock family are one of many facing the perilous threat of a nuclear attack” It was 1963, the cold war and nuclear threat was brought directly in to the public eye, in the form of an information booklet, advising the Householder on Protection against Nuclear Attack, to tell people how they could survive atomic war. 'Stout shoes', whitewash and warm overcoats were to be the main line of defence against an atomic strike for Britain's civilian population during the Cold War. These ideas, information and images on this leaflet seemed like a really good original idea for a 3d animation/short film.

Video: Sand Animation

Sand animation is usually done on a stage, where people can see the artist creating the piece. This one was post edited live with frame by frame animation. This work was created by Ferenc Cako (pictured above). A bit of a slow download, but well worth the wait.

Animation: Spiderman

This is nothing more than a fan-made animation of Spiderman zippin' through the city. What I found so impressive is how fluid it is. That, and just look at that city. Stunning work.

Video: Altoidia - Fable of the Fruit Bat

Funny ads created for Altoids Sour Gum. The link above takes you to 'Fable of the Fruit Bat' where the natives of Altoidia fear the bat.

The next one is called People of Pain. It's said that the natives of Altoidia have become immune to pain over the years.

Last, but not least, is Mastering the Mother Tongue.

Get the jumping robot to the goal. Watch as the robots 'eyes' circle itself, jump when they are facing in the direction you wish to travel. Click & hold to jump, release to land. Another great game from the fine folks over at Globz.
